Fai Mos — Online Studio - faimos.com
Last updated: May 2026
This Waiver forms part of your agreement with Fai Mos and is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions. By completing a booking, purchasing a class pass or membership, or joining any session, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Waiver.
1. Acknowledgement of Voluntary Participation
I understand that I am voluntarily choosing to participate in online yoga, meditation, breathwork, and/or sound sessions ("Sessions") offered by Fai Mos through faimos.com.
I understand that movement-based and breathwork practices carry inherent physical and psychological risks, and I am choosing to participate with full awareness of those risks.
2. Health Declaration
By participating in any Session, I confirm that:
I am not aware of any medical condition, injury, or health concern that would make participation unsafe for me, or I have consulted a qualified healthcare professional and received clearance to participate
I am not currently experiencing acute illness, injury, fever, or any condition that makes vigorous movement or breathwork inadvisable
If I am pregnant, I have received specific clearance from a healthcare professional and will only participate in sessions explicitly described as suitable during pregnancy
I will inform Fai Mos of any relevant health changes that may affect my participation
3. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge and accept that:
Online classes involve no in-person supervision.
The instructor cannot physically observe my form, assess my condition, or provide hands-on assistance. I take full personal responsibility for the safety of my participation.
My practice environment is my responsibility. I will ensure my space is clear of hazards, that I have appropriate equipment, and that I am not at risk of falling or injury in my environment.
Breathwork carries specific risks.
Pranayama, breath retention, and breathwork techniques may cause lightheadedness, altered states, emotional release, or, in rare cases, loss of consciousness. I will practice in a safe, supported environment and will stop if I feel unwell.
I may need to modify or stop at any time. I accept responsibility for listening to my body and making safe choices during a session, including stopping the session entirely if necessary.
Sound and vibration practices may have a strong psychological or emotional effect. I accept this as part of the nature of sound healing practices.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
I release and discharge Fai Mos and its instructors, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses arising from or in connection with my participation in any Session — including claims arising from any alleged negligence on the part of Fai Mos — except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
I agree not to hold Fai Mos responsible for:
Injury, illness, or physical harm arising from my participation
Psychological or emotional effects arising from meditation, breathwork, or sound practices
Technical issues with third-party delivery platforms (e.g. video conferencing tools)
Any loss or damage occurring in my personal practice environment
5. Medical & Emergency Disclaimer
Fai Mos does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in our sessions constitutes medical guidance. If I experience a medical emergency during a session, I will immediately stop and seek appropriate emergency assistance. Fai Mos is not responsible for and cannot provide emergency support during online sessions.
6. Modifications & Props
I understand that using props (blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, chairs) can reduce the risk of injury. I accept responsibility for sourcing appropriate props and for using them safely. I understand that the instructor may offer modifications during sessions, and I am responsible for choosing whether to follow them.
7. Applicable Contraindications
I understand that the following conditions may be contraindicated for certain practices and that I should seek professional medical advice before participating if any of these apply to me:
Cardiovascular conditions (including high or low blood pressure, heart conditions)
Pregnancy (particularly for dynamic, breath-retention, or inversion practices)
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
Psychiatric conditions or trauma history (particularly for breathwork and sound practices)
Recent surgery or injury
Respiratory conditions (particularly for pranayama and breath retention)
Vertigo or balance disorders
This list is not exhaustive. If in doubt, please consult your healthcare professional before participating.
8. Acknowledgement

4.2 Your Responsibility to Consult a Healthcare Professional
Before beginning any yoga, breathwork, movement, or wellness programme — particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, illness, pregnancy, or any other health concern — you must consult a qualified healthcare professional. This is your responsibility, not ours to assess.
4.3 Online Delivery Limitations
Our online sessions are delivered by video. We cannot physically observe your alignment, form, or condition in real time. We cannot provide the same level of supervision, correction, or safety assessment as an in-person class. You accept and understand this limitation as an inherent feature of online delivery.
4.4 You Participate at Your Own Risk
Movement, breathwork, and meditation practices carry inherent physical and psychological risks. By participating in our sessions you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including risk of injury, illness, dizziness, disorientation, emotional release, or adverse physical response.
You are solely responsible for:
Ensuring your practice space is clear, safe, and appropriate
Using suitable equipment and props
Listening to your body and modifying or stopping when needed
Seeking emergency assistance if required
4.5 Contraindications
Certain practices — including vigorous pranayama, breath retention, inversions, and intense movement — may be contraindicated for some individuals. If you are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, a history of trauma, respiratory conditions, psychiatric conditions, or recent surgery, please seek medical clearance before participating.

We are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your participation in our online sessions or use of our content
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim
These limitations reflect the online nature of our Services and the voluntary assumption of risk inherent in movement and wellness practices. They do not apply where liability cannot be lawfully excluded (e.g. death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud).
