Yoga a practice of remembering the wisdom of the body

Yoga came into my life during a time of injury and disconnection. What began as a way to rebuild my body evolved into a way to rebuild my relationship with myself. For many years now, it has been the anchor I return to.

My teachings draw from classical Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation and Pranayama, guided by my many teachers and their respective linages. I teach slowly, intentionally and with reverence for the tradition that holds us.

In a 1:1 session, we focus on what your body and mind truly need. This may include:
• breath-centred movement
• alignment and mobility work
• strengthening and stabilising
• nervous system–supportive sequencing
• restorative asana for deep rest
• integrating breath and body for clarity and presence

Yoga is not about shapes. It is about learning to recognise your inner strength, your softness and your ability to inhabit yourself fully.

These sessions are for all levels; whether you are beginning, returning or deepening your practice.

A Practice That Brings You Home to Yourself

Yoga is a path of returning to your breath, your body, your inner steadiness. In its truest form, yoga extends far beyond postures. It is a complete system of living with awareness and intention. Through mindful movement, breath and stillness, yoga helps soften tension, strengthen the body and cultivate a deeper connection to your inner world.

These one-to-one sessions allow you to move at your own pace, with personalised guidance designed to support clarity, strength and emotional resilience.

Vinyasa: Intelligent, Breath-Led Movement

Vinyasa offers a fluid, energising practice where each movement is guided by the breath. Sequences are intentionally crafted to cultivate balance, mobility, strength and grounded focus.

Benefits of Vinyasa:
• Builds core stability and functional strength
• Improves joint mobility and posture
• Supports cardiovascular health
• Enhances mental clarity through rhythmic, breath-led flow
• Encourages embodied awareness and emotional release

Each session can be tailored from foundational alignment to strong, dynamic movement, depending on your needs.

Yin: Stillness, Depth and Nervous System Softening

Yin invites you into longer-held shapes that target the deeper layers of the body — fascia, connective tissue and energetic pathways. This slower practice supports deep rest, inner quiet and the release of stored tension.

Benefits of Yin:
• Improves tissue hydration and joint mobility
• Balances the nervous system and reduces stress hormones
• Encourages meditative presence and emotional processing
• Helps restore energy, especially during busy or challenging seasons

Yin is especially supportive for anyone craving slowness, recovery, introspection or grounding.

Beyond Asana: The Eight-Limbed Path

Postures are only one part of yoga. One-to-one sessions can weave in elements of the traditional eight limbs:

Pranayama — breath as an anchor and energetic guide
Pratyahara — withdrawing from external noise to meet your inner landscape
Dharana & Dhyana — cultivating deep concentration and meditation
Yamas & Niyamas — gentle invitations to live with integrity and self-understanding

These elements enrich your practice and help you carry yoga into everyday life.
